What is FLT? FirstLine Therapy is a first of its kind program designed to restore health, decrease risk for disease and promote longevity through lifestyle changes including diet, nutrition, exercise, education, and one-on-one coaching. This program has been clinically shown to reverse disease processes, promote healthy body (lean) mass while decreasing unhealthy (fat) mass, and reduce (or manage) weight. It does so in a way that promotes long term results because it creates lifetime habits for good health and longevity.

Who Needs FLT? All of us can benefit from developing and maintaining a lifestyle program such as this, but particularly those who are:

Overweight or Obese                     
Pre-Diabetic (also known as metabolic syndrome)
High Blood Pressure

How Does FLT work?  FLT has been clinically shown to promote health (as it relates to fat free body mass and decreased risk for disease) by combining a program of high protein foods, low glycemic foods, medical foods, regular eating (including snacks), nutritional supplements, and physical activity including aerobic and muscle-building exercise. It also includes stress management and developing/reinforcing daily habits through regular meetings with specially trained lifestyle coaches, or educators.

In addition, you will receive a weekly test called “Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis,” or BIA, so you’ll be able to see measurable results. The BIA test is a very important part of the FLT program as it measures lean muscle mass vs. fat mass, levels of fluids in the cells and tissues and the overall “health” of your cells (ability to receive necessary nutrients and remove waste products). Your lifestyle coach, or educator, will also use your BIA results to set up your daily meal plan.
