Like a director conducting an orchestra, your brain and nervous system “conducts,'' or controls every cell, tissue, organ and system in your body. Consider what an amazing and complex system this is. Without any conscious effort on your part, nerve impulses are sent back and forth from the brain through the spinal cord to every organ and system in your body, directing the very functions of life itself—breathing, heart rate, digestion, muscle movement, memory, immune function and hundreds of other duties!
This system works completely and perfectly on its own unless there is a disruption. Disruption occurs when the bones of the spine lose their normal motion or position and rub, choke or irritate the spinal cord. This is called vertebral subluxation. The nervous system becomes interrupted and not able to perform it's many tasks properly. Trauma, stress, poor nutrition and illness are just some of the factors that cause interference. When the nervous system is compromised in this way, it results in disease and degeneration in the corresponding tissues and organs.
Chiropractic adjustments remove the interference by restoring normal motion and position to the bones of the spine. The nervous system is now able to function optimally and your body is able to correct the dysfunction because the root cause of the problem has been addressed. In other words, your body has the ability to “heal itself,” just like it was designed to do!
“When I first came to THCC, I could barely move my neck. I was in a lot of pain. After just a couple of treatments I noticed a considerable improvement. I appreciate the whole health approach instead of just masking symptoms with medication!”

“I feel like chiropractic care will be a permanent “must do” maintenance for the rest of my life. I didn't expect to feel this well. My husband and kids will be introduced next. Thank you, Team Health.”
